Im- a prefix, a variant of in- used before -b-, -m-, -p-, in the sense of "not, opposite of."
Moderate, adjective, 1. Kept or keeping within reasonable or proper limits; not extreme, excessive, or intense.
We were immoderate last night. We took our Warm Showers host out to dinner, and we were having such good time that we didn't want the evening to end. So our host took us to a local Irish pub. We met a young couple there that had just arrived from Ireland. Long conversations and stories ensued. Then we took a walk out on the piers to look at sailboats. We got in late, slept late, and were in no shape to do the 62 miles that we had scheduled for today. Fifteen miles to Saco seemed like a much better idea.
No pictures today; we didn't feel like it.
Tomorrow we will ride to Kittery, and our last night in Maine.
