Day 106, Nov 8 Creedmoor, NC to Cary, NC

After two 60 plus mile days, the 34 mile trip into Cary was a nice change. We waited until 9 AM to leave, hoping the temperature would rise a bit.  As it turned out, the temp rose to the high 40's with a bright blue cloudless sky. If we were to make a commercial to promote our trip, this would have been a great day to film. We arrived at John's sisters home by lunchtime.

The Research Triangle has fueled most of the population growth
in the Cary area.
The Maine-to-Florida US Bicycle route passes through Cary, as does NC Bicycle route and  the "Mountains to Sea" route, so it a bicycle friendly area.

Yes, was great to see you guys again. We will stay in touch. Perhaps we can find other ways to get together in the future. Mammoth Cave?
